June 7th was the 4 year anniversary of one of my favorite albums I have made, Analogue Oceans. I have never printed physical copies of it before and I thought there was no better way to celebrate its 4 year anniversary than with this extremely limited run of Analogue Oceans minidiscs! I have always hated CDs, and cassettes are great but are pretty Lo-Fi in terms of sound quality. Minidiscs are great because they are super rugged like a cassette but also have great audio fidelity! There is no better way to experience this album than through good headphones on a portable MD player with the mega bass cranked up!
If you are in need of a minidisc player, deals can be found on eBay, and you should scoop one up because I plan on releasing more of my catalog on minidisc!

Recorded with love on a Sharp MD-SR60 (ATRAC version Sharp 6) via TOSLINK digital optical cable. All album and track information is stored in the minidisc’s TOC. Don’t miss out on this extremely limited run of Analogue Oceans minidiscs!

lyrics

Back, back, back up buddy
Back, back, back up buddy
Back, back, back up buddy

Back in the building
burn it down torched and scorched asbestos
flames spilling out my thoughts and burning down the Urban Threshold
memories collide with 11,000 plus sunrises
breaking down like my Pontiac as my eyesight demises
twist through time with half my sanity lost in the oceans like sculpins and manatees
sailing the seven seas of everything experienced by my energy
breathing in my lungs a thousand dreams never ventured out of me
I don't see to care no more man you can't download misery
I've lost creative control to a spirit that wouldn't let it be
Paul McCartney couldn't touch the cadence nine number beckons me
along with other portals that I travel through extensively
trying to find the yin to the yang of my expectancies
reality is a candle and the wax is dripping over me
and my thoughts just can't figure out how I can find the remedy
fall of the flat Earth and land on a brand knew everything
you thought was upside down inverted mass murdered
the science of an audio transmission
lost in the translation of emotion to description
disfigured and abandoned on the highway of ambition
running low on gas crashing out of mental prisons
letting go of any ego that tells me that I have wisdom
most of the time I walk on sunshine but now I'm walking on lasers
trying to find out how now slips slowly into later
digital files are cluttering up my desktop
as my pen sobs in the corner while I type this into a cell phone as it dies off
making way to the landfill with motherboards and laptops
Bill Gates in a digital hell tied with wires around Steve Jobs
Planet hurts from extensive abuse we humans muster up
we choose to kill the Earth our only home 'cause we don't give a fuck
a trash bin floating through space with the ghosts of has-beens
A once beautiful place, man tell that to your grandkid's children
stupid ass Americans act like we have a vision
westernize the planet consume consumers addiction
we all float on in a wasteland of pollution like dim wits
killing the revolution they've been rendering it useless
shit, let's do this, doofus, like Bill Ted & Rufus

Back up buddy
back, back, back, back up buddy
back, back, back, back up buddy
back, back, back, back up buddy
b-b-back, back, back, back up buddy
